There were 186 New Lenox homes for sale in April, down 15.1% from April 2014, with 219 homes for sale. There were 40 homes closed in New Lenox during April 2015, down 7% from last year with only 43 closings last April. There are still fewer homes for sale but also slightly fewer closings this year compared to last.

The average market time for New Lenox during April 2015 was 86 days compared to only 98 days last year in April, which is 12.2% lower. The average list price in New Lenox during April 2015 was $287,501 which is 3% lower compared to last April’s average list price of $296,298. The average sales price during April 2015 was $250,815 up 21.7% compared to last year’s average sales price of $206,094. The percentage of original list price received is 1.7% lower than last April - 93.9% of the original list price last year compared to 92.3% this year. Properties are selling faster, listing prices remain nearly the same and selling prices have gone up. April has been a super busy month!

The number of new listings during April 2015 was 12.4% lower than last year – 78 new listings this April compared to only 89 new listings last April. The number of listings under contract increased by 10.7% this April compared to last – 62 listings under contract this April compared to only 56 listings under contract last April!
