There were 162 New Lenox homes for sale in January, down 16.5% from January 2015, with 194 homes for sale. There were 27 homes closed in New Lenox during January 2016, up 8% from last year with 25 closings last January.

November 2015 New Lenox Real Estate Market Conditions

There were 185 New Lenox homes for sale in November, down 15.1% from November 2014, with 218 homes for sale. There were 29 homes closed in New Lenox during November 2015, up 26.1% from last year with 23 closings last November. 

MARCH 2015 NEW LENOX REAL ESTATE MARKET CONDITIONS

There were 185 New Lenox homes for sale in March, down 11.5% from March 2014, with 209 homes for sale. There were 34 homes closed in New Lenox during March 2015, up 47.8% from last year with only 23 closings last March.

June 2014 New Lenox Real Estate Market Conditions

Let’s take a look at the New Lenox real estate market conditions during June 2014.

There were 234 New Lenox homes for sale in June, down 0.8% from June 2013, with 236 homes for sale. There were 58 homes closed in New Lenox during June 2014, up 28.9% with 45 closings last June! With nearly the same amount of homes for sale as last year but more closings, you can see more properties are selling!

The average market time for New Lenox during June 2014 was 125 days compared to 165 days last year in June, which is 24.2% lower! The average list price in New Lenox during June 2014 was $313,485 which is 14% higher compared to last June’s average list price of $274,989. The average sales price during June 2014 was $250,500 up 12.3% compared to last year’s average sales price of $223,000. The percentage of original list price received is 2.9% higher than last June - 93.2% of the original list price last year compared to 95.9% this year. While market time has decreased and prices have gone up, sellers are also receiving a higher percentage of their list price!

The number of new listings during June 2014 was identical to last year – 90 new listings this June compared to 90 new listings last June. The number of listings under contract decreased 5.5% this June compared to last – 52 listings under contract this June compared to only 55 listings under contract last June!
